What a session contains

Foundation Program

  • Inspirational stories
  • Shlokas, mantras and dohas
  • Dadi ma ke nuskhe — grandmother’s remedies
  • Meditation and simple chants
  • Yoga and pranayama
  • Wonders of our culture
  • Games, activities and awareness tips

Ramayan Program

  • Ram Katha and Vishesh Gyan
  • Recitation of chaupais and dohas
  • Soulful listening
  • Short meditation
  • Yogasanas
  • Specially made videos
  • Games and activities

Children are inspired to carry a few of these into daily life afterwards. The time it asks of them is small; the difference it makes is not.

What children take away

  • Values and good habits — caring, sharing, respect, compassion, patience, responsibility, humility, honesty and integrity, carried into how they behave at home.
  • A strong foundation — life-skills, readiness to take responsibility, awareness of their surroundings, and holistic development at the physical, mental and emotional levels.
  • Appreciation for culture and tradition — a scientific temperament alongside reverence for our heritage, and a broader perspective on life.
  • Belonging — a stronger sense of connection with each other, with family and with the society around them; joyful participation and real teamwork.
  • Greater focus — concentration, discipline and mind-body coordination that teachers and parents notice in the classroom.

It complements what children already learn at school and at home rather than competing with it.
